Dayfolio is a personal daily tracking and journaling application designed to help users record routines, tasks, and personal entries. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when using the Dayfolio mobile application and official website.

Dayfolio V1 is built around a local-first architecture. We respect user privacy by ensuring that your personal logs, entries, and metrics remain stored locally on your physical device.

2. Information You Enter

When using Dayfolio, you may voluntarily enter content and personal data directly into the application, including:

• Notes and journal entries
• Tasks and to-do items
• Events and schedules
• Expenses and financial tracking logs
• Habits and routine tracking
• Mood entries
• Meal logs
• Workouts and activity records
• Personal goals
• Metrics and custom numerical trackers
• Reminders and notification settings
• Custom entry types and custom categories
• Other information you voluntarily enter into the application

ProfitAI does not automatically collect, transmit, or receive the information you enter into Dayfolio. Your entries remain on your device.

3. Local Storage

Dayfolio stores application data locally on your device using the application's local storage system.

Because data is saved locally inside the application's isolated local environment, Dayfolio does not send your personal entries to external cloud servers or databases managed by ProfitAI.

4. Notifications

Dayfolio provides functionality to schedule local reminders and notifications. On Android and supported operating systems, the application may request notification permissions to display these reminders on your device screen at scheduled times.

All notifications are scheduled and processed locally on your device by the operating system. Dayfolio V1 does not use remote push notification servers or external messaging services.

5. Backup, Import and Export

Dayfolio offers manual file-based data management features, including:

• JSON Backup Export: Export your local app data into a JSON file format.
• CSV Export: Export specific tabular views or records into CSV format.
• JSON & CSV Import: Restore, replace, or merge app data from locally selected JSON or CSV files.

All export and import actions are explicitly initiated by you. When you choose to export or share a backup, the resulting file is saved locally or passed to the operating system sharing dialogue you select. ProfitAI does not automatically upload or access your backup files.

6. Files and Document Access

To support user-initiated import and export workflows, Dayfolio interacts with your device's native document picker. File access occurs strictly when you choose to open, import, or save a file through these explicit workflows.

Dayfolio does not perform continuous background file monitoring or access unselected storage areas on your device.

7. Data Sharing

The current Dayfolio V1 application does not include:

• User account creation or login services
• Cloud synchronization capabilities
• Advertising or AdMob integrations
• Third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
• Central backend server databases
• Social media sharing infrastructure

If you voluntarily use your operating system's sharing functionality to transfer an exported backup or document, the selected file will be processed by the specific destination app or service you select.

8. Advertising

The current Dayfolio V1 application does not display advertisements or include advertising SDKs.

9. Third-Party Services

Dayfolio V1 relies on core system framework capabilities provided by your mobile operating system (such as local file picking and local alert scheduling). Dayfolio V1 does not embed third-party tracking, advertising, or data brokerage SDKs.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Because Dayfolio stores data locally on your device, your content is retained until you choose to remove it. You can delete or clear your data by:

• Deleting individual entries within the application.
• Resetting or clearing the application data through device settings.
• Uninstalling the Dayfolio application from your device.

Any backup files previously exported to your device storage or shared externally remain under your control and can be deleted wherever you saved them. ProfitAI maintains no server-side copy of your data, so there is no server-side deletion request required.

11. Children's Privacy

Dayfolio is a general utility app for daily organization and tracking. Because Dayfolio operates locally without online user registration or remote account creation, it does not collect personal contact information from users of any age.

12. Security

Dayfolio is designed with a local-first approach to avoid unnecessary network transmission of your personal entries. However, no digital storage mechanism or mobile device environment can be guaranteed as completely secure against all potential hardware or operating system vulnerabilities. Users are encouraged to maintain standard security practices, such as securing their device with a screen lock.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Dayfolio's functionality or data handling practices change. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated Effective Date.
